Wendy is the chief communications officer of Organon, which will be spun out from Merck & Co., Inc. in the first half of 2021, as a leading women’s health company. She is responsible for establishing and overseeing all aspects of global communications and related advocacy to achieve Organon’s aspirations to improve the health of women.  

Before joining Organon, Wendy was CEO for GCI Health, a full-service, integrated healthcare communications agency. Over her decade tenure, she set and carried out a vision of excellence, growing the agency ten-fold – which helped earn GCI Health numerous awards and recognitions and solidify it as a best-in-class organization where people love to work.

Throughout her career, Wendy has always put patients at the center. She also been driven by a specialized focus on women and their health, advocating and educating to have an impactful effect on the lives of women. She began her career in the non-profit industry, serving as the vice president of marketing for Planned Parenthood and, before that, as the vice president of marketing at the National League for Nursing.

Wendy has been recognized for her efforts through a host of industry awards including: PharmaVoice 100 in 2020, MM&M’S Entrepreneur of the Year in 2019, MM&M’s Hall of Femme in 2018 and was listed on MM&M/PRWeek’s top 50 Health Influencers from 2016-2019. She is a member of the Page Society and active in other communications counsels and initiatives. Wendy has a Master’s degree in Women’s History from New York University and lives with her family in the metro NY area.
